An all time children's classic by Roald Dahl, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is one of those books which had been on the "to read" list for a very long time, but somehow had never gotten around to reading it.
Basic premise: Willy Wonka, the famous and mysterious chocolate maker, invites five children, picked via golden tickets, for a never-seen-before tour around his mysterious factory. Charlie Bucket is one of the lucky ones. What follows is a series of misadventures within the premises.
Overall, quite a moral lesson for children (and older readers) as well. Also, a highly recommended read.
